Hey Sam, I know that you're gonna love this little ditty. Check it out. It looks right up your alley.

http://producten.hema.nl/

HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened on November 4, 1926, in Amsterdam . Now there are 150 stores all over the Netherlands . HEMA also has stores in Belgium, Luxemburg, and Germany . In June of this year, HEMA was sold to British investment company Lion Capital.

Take a look at HEMA's product page . You can't order anything and it's in Dutch but just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens. This company has a sense of humour and a great computer programmer.

So, just your cup'a tea, right???

Foundation Computer Work

In Foundation Computers we are learning to use Illustrator as a creative tool. For homework last week, we had to create pictograms of warning labels that describe ourselves. This is one of mine. Thanks Sam!

My, oh my!

Ugh!

What is it with the children at this school? They play and goof off and the work they produce is crap! what am I supposed to say when they ask me my opinion? Do I really tell them the honest truth? I usually just ask questions to get them to think and to justify their work. Why do these kids insist on doing what every they want instead of what their professors suggest? What makes them think that they know better than someone who has taught and created longer than they have lived? Why does the student refuse to paint abstractly and insist on painting un-observed trees? What is with the kid that paints video game images? He says that "it's fun". It may be but it is crap work and a waist of time, money, and supplies. Why bother wasting such critical resources? Oh, to have the luxury of youth! Oh, Sam what's a guy to do?
